The show takes place in the moody setting of a small Fictional town called Riverdale, where drama and secrets are here every day. However, if you look closely there are Canadian hints planted everywhere. Specifically from the French-speaking city of Montreal. The creator of the show went to college at McGill University in Montreal. One hint is one villain who is named Paul Boucher nicknamed Poppa poutine. Boucher led a gang in Montreal during the Quebec biker war. Poutine is a famous piece of junk food in Montreal. This is what leads us to think s Riverdale in Montreal, Quebec?
